Pain is temporary, pride is forever

Just want to send a big shout out to the newly baptized WSSC swimmers. Only those of us who have swam under Coach Nate can understand the pain you have signed up for, and at some point, I’m sure you will wonder why you have subjected yourself to this. Perhaps, like myself, you’ll wonder every damn morning. When your alarm goes off in the pitch black of your bedroom, realize, that 1, 5, 10 years down the road you won’t remember the pain of that last set, but you will always remember the high-five you share with Nate after winning nationals.

Remember, a goal without a plan is just a wish. Coach Nate has the plan, all you have to do is set the goal.
