chances are pretty damn good that if you went to a meet in the last 8 years and a guy named Grant Hackett showed up at the meet to race you, you were better off just packing your suit right back up and watching the race from home. Grant Hackett OWNED swimmers the way Katrina owned Orleans. When he was done with you, all you were left with was heartache and the clothes on your back. Long known for making manly men his bitch, Grant Hackett has decided to retire and do what all Australian sports legends do…kick back, surf, drink a few Foster’s and be the king of the hill for the rest of his life.

Among some of Grant’s accomplishments…

* Won seven Olympic medals (three gold, three silver, one bronze)
* Won 18 world championship medals (10 gold, six silver, two bronze)
* Currently holds world records for 800 and 1,500 meters freestyle

(for those keeping track, his world record of 14:34.56 is faster than you can THINK about swimming a 1500)
