Two record books to rule them all?
I am not sure what the fuss is about here…let them have their own record book of assisted swimming records and have a second record book for those swimmers who truly embrace the sport. In both cases there would still be world records that would be broken, albeit at a slower pace. I think it would bounce the sport out of the ho-hum piss puddle it has become at the international level. NO ONE is going sub 2:06 in the Women’s 200 IM unless suited…that’s funny and sad and silly if you think that a textile suited female is going to break that.
