The West Side Ladies (and Clay), fully represented West Side today at the Concord SCM Mini Meet. As a mini meet this is one of the best in the area and West Siders had an opportunity to take off their sneakers, if only for a day, and let the dogs loose.

The last stand at Concord…

West Siders will be heading up in force to the 2nd Annual Concord Mini meet at the Beede Center on October 26th. The Blue and Black will be there in force!!! This is an awesome meet and its a great way to start the season!!! It supports the Concord Carlisle High School Swim and Dive teams and thats important in and of itself…gotta keep the kids swimming. Hope to see YOU there!!!

It’s official…West Side is heading to the Caribbean…In 2009 we will be heading down to St. John for the 6th Annual Beach to Beach Power Swim. Congrats to first time firm-manster Matt who finished 12th in his group and 148th overall with a 35:03 in his swim and a 5:49.37 for his final time.
Congrats also to Michelle who placed 3rd in her age group and 108th overall with a 33:09 in her swim and a 6:15.03 for her final.
Awesome job you two. What a way to put an exclamation mark on the season.

Dan Boone - dropping time like its acid at a Dead show…6:12 off of last year’s time…did you have a lobster hanging on to your nuts? damn!
Della Jennings - 3rd overall and first among women in the aquabike (must have been that 100 sprint/stationary bike brick last week)
Pattie D - 1st in her age group by over 9 minutes…no mercy!
